Mattel’s Barbie Doll is going to star in the movies! Barbie will star in a family friendly live action packed movie. The Barbie movie will be coming to a theater near you – just in time for her 50th anniversary. Universal Pictures has partnered with Mattel to create this fun family film. There is no word yet, on which Hollywood actress will play the famous role of Barbie.

Mattel’s Barbie doll has taken a lot of criticism over the years. Mattel could take this opportunity to cast an actress with:

• an anatomically correct figure with a proper hip to waist ratio
• hair that reflects the many diverse cultures of America
• personality and charisma
• intelligent and witty
• strong and independent

This generation wants to see new Barbie movies that inspires and motivates young girls in positive ways. Every culture in America wants their daughters to be able to identify with this Barbie movie star. Perhaps it will even become a Nintendo Flips book!
